We plan fundraisers in the form of endurance racing events, where lovers of the sport unite for our cause.

Every lap completed is a dollar contributed to our many home-building projects.
Homes built
Donations go toward building well-built, mortgage-free homes. Nothing goes to our group’s administration or the races we plan.

Laps of Honor at Freedom at the Rock
Rockingham Dragway, 2153 US Hwy 1 North, Rockingham, NC 28379 ↗. Saturday and Sunday, Nov 7–8, 2026. Laps of Honor will be at Freedom at The ROCK, the dragway’s bracket racing weekend.

Tiny Homes Flag-Raising Ceremony
15 Summit Ave, Raleigh, NC ↗. Wednesday, Nov 11, 2026 (Veterans Day), at 10:00 AM. Hosted by the US Veterans Corps and two co-hosts.
Rockingham Test Day and BBQ
Rockingham Speedway, 2152 N US Hwy 1, Rockingham, NC 28379 ↗. Test-and-tune sessions on the 1.5-mile, 8-turn road course, green flag at 8:00 AM, checkered flag at 5:00 PM, then the ChampCar Barbecue from 5 to 7 PM.

Homes for our heroes
Our car racing events are geared toward the benefit of the esteemed veterans and first responders in our community. Operation: Coming Home builds and gives away homes with the help of local home builders and subcontractors.
Operation: Coming Home has now delivered 30 Hero Homes, and counting.

Hunter Marshall raced the Holiday Jr. Jam at Rockingham Dragway over Thanksgiving weekend and secured the season’s Jr/Street Champion title.
